Adiós.nimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09050625517383763240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17927370.post-61867616961076126222007-08-25T18:07:00.000+02:002007-08-25T18:07:00.000+02:003xc31en73 e1 p0573xc31en73 e1 p057Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17927370.post-88032230768488628502007-07-24T00:36:00.000+02:002007-07-24T00:36:00.000+02:00Well, I replied you by mail back in time but this ...Well, I replied you by mail back in time but this post still gets visits from time to time, so I guess it's polite to assume that some visitors could be english speakers and some could have the patience to read over looking for something understable, so to reward it, I'll paste here the mail I replied to you. It went like this,

Hello, I read you asked me whered did I get that number on my blog. I wonder how you found my page, did you just googled the number? Because if you did so, it's possible that my answer is unnecesary, as it was asking to google as I knew everything I know about that.

Well, anyway: the number first came to me at the end of a Porcupine Tree song named Even Less. When the music banish, it can be heard a woman, in a rough recording, saying these numbers. I always liked the endind of that song, it was pretty hypnotical. But as it sounded as the kind of thing that Porcupine Tree can do by themselves I didn't paid more attention to that number until the day I was searching for the lyrics of the song to copy a passage of them to a friend, and at the end of the passage there was the number typed,

2110 8105 0096 2251 2110 8105
2110 8105 0096 2251 2110 8105
2110 8105 0096 2251 2110 8105
...

So I couldn't resist and I googled it, as I suddenly assumed that the number could actually have a meaning appart of being an odd ending for a song. And I found the Cone Project pages... and from this point, all I know is what it's said for example in this page, http://www.irdial.com/conet.htm

So it seems that the number is part of a coded message that is virtually impossible to break, as it's cyphered with a one time pad...

Well, that's everything I know. If you came to my page searching the number, I guess you already knew it, unless you were to lazy to seek too much and too unlucky to end in my blog. But of course there is a chance of you knowing more than me about that number or about number stations. If that were the case, you could consider the time I'm spending on this reply, en enlighten me a bit, hmm? ;)

Anyway, if that's not the case I hope you will find anything you need to satisfy your curiosity there. It's also a good idea to check the Wikipedia about number stations, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Numbers_station

And I think that's all, have fun with the subject.davidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08881531703448009653noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17927370.post-1143284391440329682006-03-25T11:59:00.000+01:002006-03-25T11:59:00.000+01:00where did you get that number, 2110 8105 0096 2251...where did you get that number, 2110 8105 0096 2251 2110 8105?

h -> 8 + 25 = 33 == 1 -> a
o -> 16 + 32 == 16 -> o
l -> 12 + 20 = " " (el espacio, vamos)
a -> 1 + 9 = 10 -> j
